Small Scholars Preschool strives to help children reach their full potential. We nurture children and provide experiences essential for most effective development of the whole child. Lessons and activities incorporate all learning styles and are designed to include elements that reach children at all developmental levels. We believe that the earlier we can interact with children, the more we can help them. Small Scholars offers foreign language and classical music exposure beginning at age 2. We also offer an individual educational plan (IEP) for each student.

The IEP lists areas of need for the student, highlighting 2 to focus on in the classroom. The teacher and assistant plan specific activities to help each child meet his/her individual goals. Progress reports are sent home and parent/teacher conferences are held to keep parents informed concerning their child’s growth. Conferences also enable the teacher to educate parents on strategies and activities that can be used at home with their children. As goals are met, the IEP is adjusted to meet the ever-changing needs of the student. Parents are encouraged to work with the teacher to identify areas of need for their child. We consider our students’ parents to be valuable resources. We partner with parents to meet the needs of our children.
